Kit checklist..

Thought i'd put up a checklist, that you might want to use, comment upon, improve on.. no point going to a dive site and forgetting something!

Any comments, improvements invited to this 'living' document. Please take from it the kit you own and build your own check list, then laminate!

Packed Item?

o Drysuit
o Drysuit 'consumables' - sheaths/condoms, talc, seal lube
o Undersuit(s)
o Gator wraps
o Thermal socks

o Hood
o Gloves
o Fins
o Mask

o Wing
o Backplate & Harness
o Regs x 2
o Twinset - right gas for dive?
o P + V weights

o Stage(s)
o Stage Regs
o Argon Bottle and reg
o Argon Bottle straps

o Scooter – charged?

o Dive Torch – charged?
o Backup Torches - batteries in good condition?

o Compass
o Computer/D Timer
o SMBs - what colour.. Red.. Yellow..
o Line Arrows, cookies - whatever they are..
oReels/Spools - as applicable for dive
o Wetnotes
o Goodie bag, to store your kit on boat, and for other uses.

o Analyser
o Tape for analysis labels (and waterproof pen)

o Spare Mask
o Knife / shears
o Dive Camera - batteries charged?

o Decanting Whip
o Spares kit inc. tools
o Medical kit
o Rescue Mask

o Collapsable Sack truck for twins, dependant on dive site.

o Towels
o Shower gear
o Change of clothes

Dependant on forecast weather:
o Sun Cream
o Sun Glasses
o Hat / gloves
o Sandals - for surface int.
o Thick jumper
o Waterproof coat

o Food / drinking water
o Money: cash / cards
o Log book + Tables

o Mobile Phone - charged?
o Dive site contact details left at home - in case of emergency?
o Depending on dive trip: chargers for electricals.

o Chocolate (like you'd forget Clare!)

o Sense of humour - most important.

seriously though.. weather can be unpredictable and I cannot be arsed (can I say arsed on this board? doh!) to have a summer list and a winter one..
