Anyone knows if these T-valves exist in 3/4 NPSM thereads or are they M25 only? Where can I get those?
Best

Scubatec (Italy) does them in both versions: http://en.scubatec.it/monobiattacco.htm

A good choice, but be aware, that they just fit with slim first stages (e.g. apeks DS4 - see pic).

No idea, sorry. But maybe somebody can measure the distance between the valves, if that is of any help?

Hi,
I can find it out tomorrow. Somewhere in my box with old gear are two Mk20 (I guess they have roughly the same dimensions like the Mk25)

that would be great, cheers

I think, mk25/20 are about the same size / hose routing,
the same with atomic first stages (what I'm using)

thanks again

Guys

please do remember the whole point of adding another regulator to a Singles rig.

Its of no use whatsoever if you can't turn both of those valves OFF. from which in your first picture you had not a cat in hells chance of shutting it down.

your simply adding a failure piont to your rig, if the other valve malfuctions you will lose you total gas supply through it if you can't reach to turn in off.

and if its integrity fails you'll lose your gas anyway.

those T valves look much better if you must go down the route.

makes more sense to get a set of doubles if you ask me.

just rely on good team work and keep your rig simple and sweet, your team can provide all the assistance you would require in the event of failure.

Just a pointer to remind.

regards

craig

O.K. awake an old thread...

Since my last post I dived in that configuration: 12 L Steel, 2x DS4, Eclipse 40, normal single tank adapter (not weighted, therefore configurated like in a post from Mats Edenfeldt: AGIR Black Bird 36 "custom" ).

My problem is the tight hose routing using DS4. A damaged dry suit inflation tube is due to it. Especially the backup regulator hose is captured between the other hoses while having the wing moderate inflated.

Do other single rig users have the same problems?

g-west:

What if you took the "right" first stage (i.e. the one attached to the valve on the tank) and rotated it 90 degrees clockwise. Run the long hose off the one side and the inflator off the other side.

You loose the "cool" look of having your singles rig regs route like your doubles, but you may put less stress on the inflator hose.
