He's a lost cause Lou, I bet he has also got rid of the duck tape argon mount system that I admired so much

Actually if anyone has any spare toggles going begging I'll take them off your hands and dispose of them in an environmentally friendly manner...

OK I fibbed, I had to take one off my old wing and fit it to my Halcyon Evolve when it arrived as it didn't have one on!

So I'd like to put one back on my old wing as I still use it occasionally.

why is a black cord preferable to a white one? White is easier for a rescuer to see and it shouldn't offend thine eye once thou get it behind thee

What a waste of time

As a ex Matelot and knot tying genius extraordinaire I can tell you that all that faffing is a waste of time. Simply take the existing bit of string and tie a West Country Whip around it. Jobs a Good un and in true DIR stylie if it aint broke don't F*ck it up...

Heres a link for you lesser mortals. http://www.animatedknots.com/westcou...g.jpg&Website=

Or why not just put the freaking ball back that's been there for 20 years or so?
