![]() | Twin Twelve's DS4 First Stage's When fitted to the first stage the hose for the back up reg is bent at 90 deg, Whats the feeling on fitting a 90 deg elbow into the first stage and then fit the back up hose into the elbow so it runs nice & straight. Any thoughts |

There is nothing wrong with asking questions, just as long as it appears that you have done some digging already. What I found from doing Fundies is GUE expects it's divers to have some capability to think - problem solving is a skill that is expected of you. The courses are definitely not 'Monkey See, monkey do...', they are courses where you are given the problem and a possible solution or some pointers but it is you who has to work it out. HTH Gareth |

There isn't too much stress placed on the hose and the elbow provides another failure point. To reduce the angles on the hoses, the DS4's are placed horizontally, if you tilt them inwards the angle increases, even then it is still useable as that is how I have my DS4's, Explorer and ECS setup. So to keep the click happy I will keep my mouth shut until I have completed the fundies course. So to all who have been helpful a big thanks. |
