| Chimp 2 | Nitrox Stickers Hi I need some nitrox stickers for my new heisers. I would prefer some that can only be seen with a scanning electron microscope, but have been informed that, apparantly, it is helpful at divesites if they are at least visible to the naked human eye. Sigh So, where can I get some small nitrox stickers. I like the bsac ones I have seen but am not a bsac member. Cheers all

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | You don't have to be a member. I'm not sure what the postage is but I doubt it's that much. If you can wait until the 1st of April, then you can buy them at the BSAC stand on the dive show. If you can wait that long. Janos

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | The BSAC stickers are great, apart from the fact that they dont comply with the new HSE labelling practises/standards. Whilst Im sure any sensible fill station won't give you grief, you can bet some will. |

| Chimp 2 | yeah i heard about the new standards the other day, was chatting to the bloke in Frogsborn diving in north wales about it. Is this the nonsense about writing the gas on the actual sticker each time you get a fill. That is the dumbest idea I have ever heard.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Its the second hazmat diamond (5.1 oxydizing agent) thats the issue. The BSAC stickers are too old to have it. Most shops would ignore it. What a ****ed up world we live in. Chris [edit] hey cool the site software deletes the bad words... Weeeee... I'm on SB... |

![]() | I believe that the current stock of BSAC stickers do include the second hazmat diamond. I don't have any around, but have seen some small ones recently that I'm fairly certain were BSAC ones that did have it on. However, these small stickers may be irrelevant soon... I ran our club's cylinder run last month. When they came back I had a quick word with the guy from Solent about the stickers. He said that the latest word from HSE was that the 2 diamonds have to be 10cm to a side! He is currently waiting for confirmation as his normal much larger than we tend to like stickers won't meet the 'new regs' if HSE do mean this. He said that there will be a change over time if this is the case to allow the test centers to use up their current stock of stickers. Obviously different fillers will interpret that as they will. |
