| Resident purveyor of shiney kit.... | Well the best just got even better ! I am delighted to announce that Salvo lights have now gone Lithium Ion ! These lights are now in stock in the UK and available for immediate shipment. You now have the fantastic range of Salvo HID lights available with even more burn time and lighter than the existing NiMH range. For details see here for the "traditional" range with Li-ion battery packs or the see here for the Remote Ballast range which have a smaller light head. All the above lights come with the advantage of a dry lid, so that even if you cut the cord or damage the switch boot you will not flood the battery canister. In conjunction with this launch there are deals available now on the NiMH range of lights currently in stock with us. But when they've gone, they've gone !

| Resident purveyor of shiney kit.... | Hmmmm, Several fold really. Sealed canister now, cut the cord or damage the switch boot it will not flood the battery. Longer burn times, less weight, smaller canisters. Of course, all still with the fantastic ability to use your Salvo as a lumphammer when needed :D As I demonstrated to you last time you were in the shop, you and Di. Did it again yesterday for a guy and thought he would need a swift brandy, the look on his face was a real Mastercard (priceless). More examples of a truly awesome product, but just made better still. I shudder to think what Barry has up his sleeve next Cheers

Interessting, so will I still have to open the lid to charge the battery? And what will happen in regards to fire/explosion if I actually do manage to flood the canister?Cheers Jonas |

Looking at the colour temp of the bulb 6500 kelvin I would guess these new lights even though they are 21w do use the new style bulb anyway. The old style bulb was only 5600 kelvin if i remember correctly. |

![]() | I'm impressed, barry just keeps us surprised all the time! Would this as well be the solution to our problems with series-parallel charging problems with the nimh cells? Someone with knowledge about li-ion cells could give us an expert opinion on this. And I thought I would be free of the urge to update my primary for a much longer time ![]() Aleksi |
