WANTED: Si Tech auto dump

Well as the title says, I'm after a Si-Tech automatic dump valve to replace the slightly knackered one on my drysuit. (I might consider a high profile Apeks at a push (read cheap )

So anyone got one knocking around off an old DUI/Poseidon/Otter suit?

Otter claim that they are no longer using them and don't have any old ones left in stock and I've lucked out everywhere else

PM me with what price you are looking for (obviously cheap will win you my undying gratitude and thats worth more than money any day )

Might even consider slightly faulty ones, I know the diaphragm and spring are ok in mine but the ratchet is 'donald ducked' so it spins too easily.

Daz

Hey Daz,
I've been having fun getting hold of one as well - only option I've found so far is to get one shipped over from Austria

If you want a new one let me know and I'll PM you the contact details!

When I spoke to Dan in SDS he said they weren't?? I also recall reading a threat on TDS saying you could get a valve seat to sit on top of the wider apeks seat... Will try having a look for it..

Well the Apeks low profile and sitech mounting hole is the same size.

Can't comment on the high profile apeks because I've never taken one out but I'd be surprised if they were different.

Thanks for the offer Phil (Have you no shame, I've just paid for some more stuff as it is ). Fortunately I think I've found a really, really cheap(1) supplier of a SiTech valve in Basingstoke.

Daz

(1) Well when I say cheap I'm sure it will cost me in groveling but I have no shame so it's a price I'm willing to pay
