FS - Polar Bears 8mm Hood

I bought one of the 8mm Rubatex hoods - size small.

I have tried it on 3 or 4 times and it doesn't feel comfy. It hasn't been in the water.

I have been told they are lovely and warm, I must be too used to the 3mm type.

These are £40 plus postage which I think was about £8 direct from Polar Bears but you can have it for £35

Opps obviously it is Black

I would take this off you Fiona but i can't get my head in the large.
They are a bit tight aren't they!!

??? Where did you try them if it has not been in the water?!?!?

I normally use 2x7mm hood in the winter. That is NOT comfortable above water but GREAT under neath.

If it does not hurt but only is not comfortable it might be wise to try it in the water, that might make a huge difference....

Is it really going to make that much difference

I put it once once when I was going diving but as I was waiting for a while for my buddy it started to make my jaw ache, so took it off. On Friday night I tried it again and it seemed to make my cheeks (face ones

) puff out.

OK I might try it in the pool next week and see. I would hate to spoil a proper dive trying it out.
