| Moderator | FS - Polar Bears 8mm Hood I bought one of the 8mm Rubatex hoods - size small. I have tried it on 3 or 4 times and it doesn't feel comfy. It hasn't been in the water. I have been told they are lovely and warm, I must be too used to the 3mm type. These are £40 plus postage which I think was about £8 direct from Polar Bears but you can have it for £35 ![]() Opps obviously it is Black ![]() |

That is NOT comfortable above water but GREAT under neath. ![]() If it does not hurt but only is not comfortable it might be wise to try it in the water, that might make a huge difference.... |

| Moderator | Is it really going to make that much difference I put it once once when I was going diving but as I was waiting for a while for my buddy it started to make my jaw ache, so took it off. On Friday night I tried it again and it seemed to make my cheeks (face ones ) puff out.OK I might try it in the pool next week and see. I would hate to spoil a proper dive trying it out. |
