Salvo 24W 9AH HID light

Just like it says in the title. I've got a 24W 9AH Salvo that started life as a 21W that I recently had upgraded to a 24W. Runs flawlessly, has about 10 dives on it, 9 fresh, 1 salt.

Bright as heck, color is very nice.

This light also comes with the spare 21W bulb and assorted parts. Of course it comes with the original charger and battery as well.

Why am I selling, you ask? I've got another project I'm working on that I'd like to have extra funds for, this is the only reason I'm selling this light. Like I said, it works flawlessly. I'm not in any hurry to sell nor do I need the money that badly, so low-ball offers will be ignored.

If anyone is interested, PM me a reasonable offer and we'll talk. I can take detailed pictures if desired.

Thanks

Got my Halcyon 18w pro 6 lead and I am not changing :D
Could consider an upgrade to a NiMH canister but only if i had the possibility to change back to my original 6 ah canister if the NiMH failed. Wetcons maybe...

What is your price of the light?

It a good light. And selling well in Europe too. The price level is also resonable compered with/to other canister light.
Your light is almost new and of course you donīt want to give it a way for “coffee money”.

Now, at half past two CET; logged in members are from Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Norway, Sweden, UK and Thailand. Three from US. OK I just looked quickly.
But that is approx. Locations / Veiw

Your price + shipping from USA maybe scare some off.
Just my first thought.

Donīt worry.

Best regards

Tord

Having saw all the Salvo's up against my 18W Halcyon....the only one that comes close is the 18W.

The 24 looks more like a video light to me IMO

On none of the boards you've listed this have you given an idea of what you're asking... hence the pattern... at some point you may get an offer, but most folks aren't like that.... besides, you say you're not in a hurry, so what's the rush? :D

I did a side by side with Pete's 18W halcyon and my 21W Salvo and I couldn't tell the difference. So he bought his wife the Salvo and saved Ģ450. That said Howard's Salvo 21W had a totally different color to my one but recently blue a bulb so I wonder if he had a fault with the ballast.

Apparently the 18W salvo is better than the 21 but I haven't seen it in the water yet. Pete has flooded his Halcyon twice and it went back for a new cable and gland two months ago. My Halcyon 10W has packed up after about a year of use and a year of being carried as a back up torch and left on the boat. It has had difficulty firing up the bulb. Andyps Halcyon is doing the same thing. Today it packed up altogether and refused to switch on (either that or the bulb has gone.

Service from Halcyon reps in the UK has been good but I'd rather they didnt break in the first place. Salvos have been faultless so far but they are both about 8 months younger than the Halcyons so we shall see. If the Halcyons had a better history of reliability I would pay the extra but the amount of floods and bulb failures reported doesn't encourage me to spent almost 40% more to get virtually the same torch with an H stamped on it.

ATB
