Hey there,

There's a few guys in my club after a tail weight. AGIR used to do these but have temporarily stopped. Anyone know where else I can try in the UK?

Here's a few pics of a new product. It's a heavy duty mesh pouch thats wrapped with weight belt webbing. There is a grommet in each end of the webbing. It fits over the lower band bolt. You can fill it up to 5 lbs with soft weight.

I was originally concerned that it would hit me in the rear end, but it's pretty much unnoticed in use. It's fitted between the tank and the wing and does not interfer with deployment of a butt mounted lift bag.

US Retail $15.

Come and get um

Having played with the twins at the weekend I'm also in need of a tail weight, but would probably make a complete hash of making my own!

Can anyone point me in the direction of where to get hold of one, preferably adjustable?

Out of interest - any reason why you haven't ordered one of Tobin's tail weight pouches? If I didn't have a Huggins Mk-2 tail weight I'd be seriously tempted to try it.

Cheers
Al

Yup - Ian and I missed a trick yesterday cos he has Heisers and wondered what Fabers were like and I could have compared the Fabers to the Heisers! Doh!

We did compare them side-by-side though. The Fabers are clearly shorter and fatter so I guess there could be trim differences

We have about 20 "in the wild" currently without complaint. Just added them to the website.
