![]() ![]() | Hi all I have just recieved my new Halcyon DSMB but have a few Q's about storage and where to tie of the spool line, it has a long webbing strap with a bungee loop about a quarter of the way down and then at the end a bolt snapDo i tie off on the bungee loop or the boltsnap ? Do i store it in my left pocket or in the back pak and clip off to the rear bum D ring ? There is also a clear polythene type tube at the top, is this for a glow stik when night diving? How do you guys store it and tie off? Please excuse me if these are dumb Q's but if you dont ask............ Cheers Barry ![]() |

Not the clip or the bungee. Pockets or storage pack is a matter for you to work out whats best. I like the pocket for the "everyday" bag, and the storage pack for my backup. If you put it in the pack, clip the boltsnap to the rear d-ring. I think you could put a light stick in the pouch, or a page of wetnotes if you needed to send a message to the surface. Make sure that you tell the surface support about this technique if you think you might need it ![]() Cheers, Rich |

![]() ![]() | Cheers Rich that makes sense, i suppose the answers were obvious but its always good to get knowledge from the masters. Will try both storage methods and see, got 2 weeks solid diving coming up so will have plenty of time to play. Regards Barry |
