| andersbomholdt.dk | I´ve heard that the way to go on rigging this is to have a snap at the handle, and some kind of loop at the back of the ballast for a double ender to allow for temporary storing of an "on" light without blinding your buddy - does anyone have a photo of this rigging? mvh Anders |

| New Member | I've heard this too, and thanks for the photo because I've not seen anyone else's lighthead with the new loop thingy on it yet. Why is it done like this? What's wrong with a boltsnap tied on in the same place as the bungie loop in that picture?

| New Member | One issue I have had with using this setup is the clipping off at the end of a dive. When Al and I did the Gavin dive the other day we both clipped off on the rear attachment while we re-attached the trigger pins and prepped for ascent. This was fine but when we turned out lights and fully stowed them for the ascent he did it much more quickly with two bolt snaps. I unclipped from the D-ring then had to unclip the double ender from the bungy, attach it to the D-ring then get the bolt snap and attach that. All this in 4m of water with a slightly nose light Gavin meant my ascent wasn't the best it could be :p Presumably with practise it becomes better and easier but is the entanglement issue of the second boltnap that much? ![]() |
