| Custom User Title | New hood Hi, I'm looking for a new hood now that the water is getting colder, I'm currently using the hood that came with my Otter suit and it's not very good to say the least. I've thought about ordering one from wetwear but from what I hear it takes ages for them to make it and deliver it, an alternative would be polarbears, who also uses rubatex neoprene, but I don't like the model they sell. Any suggestions? Cheers Jonas |

![]() | Check this http://www.waterproof.se/accessories.php Waterproof Hydra 5/7 is the best hood I´ve ever tried. Sizing is quite big so I have to use Small- with other hoods my size is Medium. M. Last edited by elmisilhumano; December 28th, 2005 at 01:10 PM. |

The hood may cost a little more when you buy it, but it will keep you warmer longer. Are the otter bay ones made from rubatex?Cheers Jonas |

| wet behind the ears | I have a 12mm Otter Bay. It has kept more heat in than just about any other item (argon, undergarment, long underwear, etc.). Initially it feels like a head cast, but it stretchs out and gets more comfortable after a couple of dives (3 or so). Here's Otter Bay's site: http://otterbaysuits.com/ Richard |
