Waterproof Trilaminate Drysuit

A local divestore suggested I check out this suit. It's not in the UK yet and it's not on their website. Looks nice on the model - what do you guys make of it?

Waterproof Aquila Trockentauchanzug - Anzüge, Trockentauchen

Ehh no.

I've seen them both at the hamburger tauger tagen at Hemmoor last year and on boot2008 in Dusseldorf.

It looks nice, but the material is really stiff compared to the marginally more expensive DUI.

For that price you may as well go for the TLS350....

Indeed. That is a hell of a lot of money for a copy and the material does not look particularly flexible.

Waterproof are a good brand, I use their hoods in preference and I've seen nice neoprene drysuits which whilst unsuitable for what I want from a suit appear well made. I don't think they have got it right with this one although as a DUI dealer I should declare an interest if not a bias

what's going on with the wrist seals on that suit? is it some kind of 'warm wrist' overlay like they have on the neck?
