DUI Warranty and the crotch strap

Hi Folks,

Just sent my suit (TLS 350, two and a half years old, perhaps 250 dives) in for some repairs. The stitching and glueing work was performed under warranty.

Repairing the crotch strap wasn't (I didn't ask why, doh!). The strap had pulled (ripped) out of where it fixes on at the front of the suit.

Anyone got experience of crotch strap repairs and cover by the dui limited warranty?

Unless it turns out the warranty decision was clearly wrong, I've decided to fix it myself (or not bother, as it doesn't seem to make a difference not having it). No way I'm going to pay £35 quid for some bungee and a bit of sewing. Perhaps I'm being a bit tight, but that's what happens after two whole days in a car with Woodside (or any Scouser, I'll wager).

Cheers for any help,
Owen

Mine was also not covered after 2.5 years (and now the replacement has broken--after 6 mo or so). I am going to say sod it and leave it off I guess.

EDIT: If the suit is already in, would be worth asking since DUI apparently "forgot" that you get a free pair of turbo-soles replaced on each suit (1 time) under warranty and then charged me almost $400US to replace some boots!
