![]() | I have dove them for a while now. In the begining I hated them - I always had a leak in one glove or the other. It takes a bit of practice to get them on, but once you have it down they are awesome. The only draw back I can see is the price. I think they are almost as much as most ring systems and when you tear a seal or rip a glove you need to eat the whole cost again. Where as with rings you don't have any seals to degrade and if you rip a glove then you can just replace the glove for a few dollars. There is always the option to make your own wrist seal gloves or at the very least repair your own. BTW, I recently got an unknown brand of rings and have been diving with them instead of my wrist seals type. I thought I wasn't going to like the rings but I don't really notice them at all once in the water. I don't think I have been of much help here since I like both systems. Hopefully others will chime in. If you go with the wrist seal type let me know. I pass on what I have learned to get them on properly. Good luck. Hunter |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Views, practicality, benefits, drawbacks, etc Really difficult to put on yourself so it plays havoc with your solo divingTo me it appears the simplest and most obviuos route......... but I have been known to be wrong. On a serious note. They are quite expensive to replace if you get a hole in the glove, whereas with a ring system the glove can be changed out for £3 Main benefit is that you don't have to pay out for extra seals and rings on your suit and they are more difficult to equalise with the suit but a piece of pipe cleaner or chord does the job ok. | Chimp 4 | also - how would you equalise the Glove? I know you could put a straw under the seals - but that would be uncomfortable after a while.. Don't be a cheapo Martin - get some Ro-locks.. ![]() we're down you way 27th-29th if you wanna meet up for a dive or beer..

All youu need to do then is buy some Showa blue gloves and get new seals on your suit. I might even lend you my tool and give you some spare o rings if you ask nicely Can't get cheaper than that Martin |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | How do you get into your bp-harness with those rings? I avoid putting on my compass/BT before putting on my set, as I tend to get stuck at some point with the bulk on my wrists...

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Thanks all for the replies and offers. Once the water temp is above 12 degrees I dive without any gloves, 70 minute run time and perfectly comfortable, 3mm down to 10 degrees, and 5mm when it gets chilly. However I may start nosing around more at this dry glove malarky, then I can poke more critters ![]()

At last this is what I have observed..
