![]() | Drysuit Pockets... I am sure I read a thread here about drysuit pockets but cant seem to find it! (In fact I have a nagging suspicion that I may have posted it!!! Anyway the question... What is the general opinion on Drysuit pockets? Currently have a DUI TLS 350 and I am looking for a left thigh pocket thinking of the DIR Zone belllows pocket or halcyon bellows. Anyone have any experience with either or can point me to the relevant page!? Cheers

![]() | i got two pockets fitted by scuba & outdoor pursuits. they call them the tec pockets and there are huge. they have all the norm ie, zip compartment with loop, drain hole and a velcro slim pocket good for wet notes after use. To have them fitted is £40 a pocket and takes about a week or so. |

| Giddyup | Ok.. side question here... For those of us that are a bit more vertically challenged than others, would the Halcyon Explorer pockets be a bit much? As much as I have pocket envy, with my mere DUI bellows pockets, I'm wondering how much overkill those giants would be on me? I have short, stocky legs, and I'd think that having pockets that big might be a little too big for me.... although I'd love that extra space..lol... |

Don't forget that if the suit fits you, even the largest pockets will sit where you're hand falls assuming they are fitted in the correct place. The large Explorers have tons of room in the main pocket and the bungee loops face down into the pocket, stitched into the rim - so stuff tends to fall naturally back into your pocket with a little help as a result, rather than spilling everywhere. In the large velcro flap there is a smaller zipper pocket with two more bungees where you can put non-essential smaller items like antifog, double enders, spare timers etc. The shape of the pocket is nicely rounded and hydrodynamic unlike the DUI ones which are very square. I've just gone to great lengths to have them fitted to my new suit instead of the stock ones. Having had one added to my last suit - I didn't want the new suit to be without them. DUI should start offering them as an option from the factory IMO HTH
