Yes

They work great, but fall apart quickly. I think mine had there first (of many) trips to a tailor around 75 dives. After about 400 dives with them (Lakes, Rivers, Ocean, Caves, Wrecks) they are finally beyond repair.

That said, they look REALLLLLYYYY gay.

Wear x-shorts and you'll look as gay as a gay thing... look at my avatar..... <----

I'm normally a hairy arsed, deep voiced alpha male, but I pulled on those shorts to give the boys a photo opportunity and came over all camp and gay.... look at my avatar again...

<--- that could be you that could

Don't do it, buy stick on pockets and some neoprene glue.. your manliness depends on it..

Dave

<ahem, in a much deeper voice> Dave!.....

I use them for wetsuit single-tank diving, they come really handy if you have several wetsuits. Quality is not very good, the outer layer started tearing apart after a few dives.

For serious dives, only use drysuit with permanent pockets.

I've used them but not overly keen on them overall - see the post below on pockets

What goes where - Pockets

If you want to use them in warm climes they are ok but the quality is not great. I also found it better if I wore a weight belt to stop them falling around my ankles,as they draw-string is not that successful.

There has been mention of them making you appear gay ... not really sure about that. Let me ask my dive partner .... Rick dear, any thoughts???

Oh NO

I would not be caught dead in those!! (see Willo's post). X-shorts (or any shorts of same disposition) clearly trespass on rule #6........ If I bend or die (left behind in a loooooong dark cave only to be found 3 months later) at least they wont laugh....

Stuck and sown pockets on three pairs of wetsuits and have factory fitted pockets on dry.

Agreed, my buddy ripped his after 50 or so dives (and this is the guy who meticulously folds, packs and washes his entire gear every time we dive, even if we are going out the next day)

Also, unless you have some serious hips, they are prone to falling down (or at least feeling like it)

I'd consider attaching pockets.
