Another DUI Question - pocket D rings?

I understand its prefered to have loops of bungie in the pocket to clip gear to and not the D Rings.

Do I just get boltsnaps and try to cut the D Rings out? (new suit, very scared!)

You can cut them out without taking a set of bolt cutters to the d-ring.

Just cut the material the d-ring is attached to.

Make a couple of holes in the side of the pocket with a soldering iron and thread the bungie through that.

Let me see if I can find a pic somewhere.......

Are they DUI pockets? If so, mine have holes in them already.

I left the D-rings in mine. Can't see any reason to remove them.
