![]() ![]() | Bob is correct. If you get the latest sealing glands that are currently coming on new lights, they have a larger/different threading than the old ones so your lid and ballast would need to be re-drilled and have the threads retapped. The new ones look like this: (image shamelessly stolen from the Salvo website) ![]() The other option is to get in contact with Corey Smith at Halcyon Tech Services and ship your light to him (in High Springs FL, USA) and have him update it to the latest sealing glands. If that's out of the question but you still want the newest version of the sealing glands, perhaps someone in the UK would be willing to drill out and retap the threads in your lid and ballast.

![]() | I don't think you need 2 new glands. You're problem is your cable!! ![]() Seriously, why do you need new glands? These are normaly indestructable. Normally you replace the o-ring. The only reason to replace them is for an upgrade to the new glands. Bart |

![]() | Thanks for the advice, I did some phoning and got a price of £54 for new cable and £36 for new glands! You were right, I didnt need new glands so I stripped it all apart and cleaned up the glands, replaced the o rings and resoldered/heatshrinked the dodgy connection I had. Then I rebuilt it and reheatshrinked over the gland and its as good as new! Just did a quick dive and its not leaking so far... Thanks for the advice! |

![]() ![]() | While my lights didn't need new glands, I had mine upgraded to the newer, more robust model. ![]()
