| Moderator | Evolve with Fabers Sorry I know this has come up before but I can't find it. I have just been away and used an Evolve wing on loan from Silent Planet. I enjoyed diving with it and found dumping air from it very positive. However I am sure I have read that the Evolve is too long for Faber cylinders. Should I take the Evolve off my wish list ? |

Not that it's a problem for him as he never goes diving :D The Explorer is a much better wing if you want to stick with Fabers. Having said that, it might prompt you to upgrade to Eurocylinders, which look a lot cooler than Fabers. |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Thanks Nick Hi Fiona,![]() Upgrading 2 sets of fabers isn't an option I am afraid. I have had an Evolve since last summer and used my Faber 12's & 15's with it without any issues. I prefer it to the explorer and would stick to it. Its a good choice of wing for almost any twinset I use. I have around 5 twinsets( Faber 12's ,Luxer S80s etc. etc.) from various manufacturers. The evolve work well with everything. I can try to take some pictures for you if you want. Best. Ali

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I guess it depends how careful you are with it! I dive an Evolve with Fabers and it's been fine so far, I'm just very wary about the fact it's there. ...so that should guarantee me puncturing it in the next few weeks ![]() |

| Moderator | Ali and Neil thanks for the comments, my smile is back ![]() I enjoyed diving with it and found it much easier than my Agir 38, although it could have been because it was the only source of buoyancy as I was diving in a wetsuit. Saying that the Agir is a lovely piece of kit. |

Yeah I've managed a few dives so far this year ![]() - but few and far between! Mostly quarries due to a few planned sea dives being blown out and the need to work on skills 'n' drills due to lack of diving and plans for tech1!! |
