O´rings

HELLO

I will be very pleased if anyone give some advice for where can I buy (online) spares sets of o-rings for my 9 amp NIMH salvo light (canister and bulb)? (the ISO number of those o-rings will be also very apreciate).

I have asked to divingniknaks but don´t see this stuff in the web page and I understand that no answer means no O in stock.

Any helps should be greatfully paid (with prays )

Best

PD. Can anyone tell me if the canister for the 9 amp NIMH battery is the same to 13.5 Lion (salvo lights of course) and they spend the same type of O rings?

Thanks again!

just take the ones you have to a shop and get them measured. then tell us :-)

The canister lid one is not so critical as the deeper you go, the more pressure is put on it.
The test tube ones I think need to be quite close to the original ones because they are working ( sealing ) in a diffirent way.

o rings

Your local dive shop should stock several sizes of 'o' rings. They're usually of a harder texture than the standard 'o' ring. In Australia I was told to ask for a '90 or 70 durometer' when asking for 'o' rings for dive gear. You should check it out as ordinary ones might not be up to it! I was looking for spares for my reg.

Alex, I doubt an LDS would stock the O-rings that sit between a canister and the lid of the torch.

They should be able to tell you where to go for them and what standard to ask for.

If you can find out the size (ISO / AS568A Dash number) then this US site has every size you could possibly want.

McMaster-Carr

Also very cheap for general viton reg o-rings if you want a stock for life. I did have a chart of the standard sizes, but can't find it at them moment

Edit: -

Some info here How to Buy O-Rings For Scuba

Dash number:
003 HP Hose/ SPG Swivel
010 LP Hose / 2nd Stage
011 Standard 3/8" Lrt
012 7/16" HP Port/ Hose Manifold
013 1/2" LP Large Port
014 Std Yoke Regulator/ K-valve
015 Tank Valve Bonnet Nut
111 Small DIN Regulator/Valve
112 Standard DIN Regulator Valve
116 1/2" Tank Neck (small)

Hi,

Sorry for not answering but we didn't get your original request I'm afraid.

We do keep the spare lid o-rings but just never got round to putting them up on the site, email me again

The can size for the 9A Nimh is not the same as the 13.5 Li Ion. And therefore the O rings are a different size again.

Hope that helps

Best wishes
