| Site Sponsor | Hi, I have removed the yellow liners from my Typhoon dry gloves as they were starting to stink. I had to remove the blue outer gloves from the ring system to get at the liners (they were sewn together). I'm going to get some thinsulate liners to go in them but I now have the problem of re-fitting the blue outer gloves to the rings. I have sat pulling my hair out trying to refit the gloves/o-ring to the rings. Is there an easy way to re-assemble the gloves? I can't find any instructions anywhere. Help! Thanks, Mark.

| Moderator | Mark, I have only seen the outside of the gloves here so don't know what the inside looks like where the O-rings and glove sit. Is it anything like the Ro-Lock gloves? If so, you can download the fitting instructions I re-wrote here. Alternatively see this link on YD by Dave Crampton who has some pictures which might be able to help. Regards

![]() | snap heya, i'm having hte same issue at the moment, the vital part which i'm missing (and guessing it's the same for you) is a plastic ring with a slit in it (basically a drainpipe which is just wider than the rings, with a vertical cut down one side so you can change the diameter of it) then what you do it put the o-ring into the glove, far enough into it that the glove can be folded over it (inside the glove. but don't do this yet!!) then coil up the drainpipe type bit and push it in and open it up so it holds open. THEN push the end of the glove in so it is on the inside of the drainpipe bit now put the ring in place, then, when the o-ring is in the right place, coil down the drainpipe bit again and remove it (so that the o-ring rests in the groove and holds the glove onto the ring) and bobs your uncle, fanny's your aunt, and you're one happy diver with luverly warm hands YEY!!!!!!!!!!!!hope that helps, let me know if any bits are confusing. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Lads It just so happens that i had this problem last year and after loads of research i got in touch with Oceanic who used to make the gloves. They sell a repair and maintenance kit for a tenner with loads of replacement o rings, glue, patches, lube etc. which all come in a cool screw together type cannister. They also sell the broken rings of which i bought the last 2 i think. If you are really struggling with this Mark i couls send the tool to you in a jiffy bag. The job is still a major pain up the arse though ( i broke the hinge on my back gate in frustration last time i swapped mine over) I have had a search all over their website but can't find the number for Oceanic but the fellas were really helpful and knew xactly what i was talking about. | Chimp 4 | I have taken a phot of the kit but don't know how to insert a picture. I am a numpty when it comes to computers so an easy step by step guide is required please. Neil the Numpty Do you have it on a web site somewhere? if so click the yellow box in the toolbar above - the one that says "Insert image" when you hover over it - and enter the URL of the picture. if you don't - I suggest using a site like ""PicOodle! - Image Sharing"" - just use the bit on the right "Upload an image" - find the image on your PC. Upload it and copy the URL (the one called "Direct link to image URL of image") it gives you into the Yellow box above. Hey presto.
