Water temp in the Channel will be around 12 deg that time of year so 5mm or 3mm neoprene gloves should be ok depending on how much you feel the cold.Any recommendations? | Chimp 4 | Coming back to UK for 2 months at end of May. Hope to get some diving in but I'll probably need some gloves... what bob says - I'd go for a set of 5mm semi-drys - either Seeman Sub 5mm Titanium Semidry Gloves or the Scubapro 5mm semi dry gloves - both offer excellent movement..Any recommendations? Can't see myself doing anything too adventurous need more than 60 ish min in water. Graham If you don't want to buy - then you can borrow some off me - I'm sure we can work out a way to get them to you while you are here..

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Yes very helpful - thanks I just use cheap and cheerful ones, northern diver 5mm I think. They wear out quick. Any brands that are good?I tend to use them like undersuits - an old knackered pair for Aug/Sept and a brand new pair for Feb. I have an "unworn"pair of 5mm scubapro waiting for that "special" dive...! Bob |

| GUE Instructor Site Admin | If you are not used to wearing gloves, I find the Scubapro Everstretch ones feel less restrictive. I loathe anything more than 3mm but find that I can cope with 5mm ones in this material.

| Pinoy ako pinoy | Thanks for all your help guys. Now how about some diving I would be up for anything on the south coast before I go to Florida on June 18th. I notice there is a salsette dive scheduled on 14th of June (my birthday incidently) and I can rob Lanny's tanks. I'll be based in Lyme Regis and happy to drive for an hour or two in any direction ![]() Tech 2 and Cave 2 but less than 10 dives in the UK - so be gentle. Graham
