Question Dui 30/30 Se

Gang,

I am looking at getting a DUI 30/30 for diving in in the summer.

Has anyone had any experience with this suit?

Look at DUI - 30/30 Tropical Drysuits for SCUBA diving

Ali

Hi Ali,
The clients that I have sold this suit to are pretty happy with them. They let air through and are generally light weight.
But why would you want one of those for Dubai? I heard the water is prety warm over there already.

This summer, I am going for a good old 3mm WaterProof. I used one of those for dives down to 110m and 120min run times in summer and never felt a chill. I even used one for winter and was fine.

I would suggest that if you have a grand you can't do anything with, then fly over to me and we go for some quality wet suit diving
Otherwise, it is a great suit and will make you VERY happy.

Very light suit. You want to get the turbosole option. It's a very nice and comfortable suit better used when water is between 20°c and 25°c and when it's windy on the boat during SI.
Perfect for the 2 tank trip with 1hour SI.
Below 20°c, a TLS with lighter undies is a better choice. Over 25°c, wetsuit is best.
So all in all, it's a suit that has a very narrow range of use as far as temp is concerned even though it's a very nice suit, good quality...
My 2 cents
Best
Philippe

I have one, it's my backup suit. I hate the ankle seals and will be getting the turbosoles put onto the suit when it needs to get worked on next. I really like it, it's light weight, but still keeps you warm. I'm considering taking it on my cave diving trip to Mexico this July but I'm on the fence. 5 days of diving in 79°f water, I might get cold but the thought of being sidelined by damaging the suit isn't a great option either.

Thanks guys.

I am looking at getting one sometime in July. For alot of the mixed gas stuff we do here throughout the year (55m-115) , I use a wetsuit but have come to a conclusion that I prefer being dry for the dive.

Thanks again.

BTW, Ahmed, if you want to fly over, you are more than welcome to.

Why not sail? It's not too far away.

You would not believ how much it would make me happy to do just that. The only problem would be explaining to the Mrs that I am going diving and not coming home with more dough than I left with
