![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Wing inflate button On my old Explorer, the inflate button was on the outside of the inflator hose (i.e. pointing to the left) but on my new Explorer, the button is on the inside (i.e. pointing to the right, not actually on the inside ). I believe on both of my buddy's Explorers, the button is on the inside. I preferred having it on the outside, is there any reason why I couldn't just turn it round?

| Resident purveyor of shiney kit.... | Now that was bugging me a while ago as well and I'd forgotten about it. Thanks Joe, as always the glaringly obvious answer was the one that I couldn't see. :p

Ideally it should be angled slightly outwards but predominantly pointing right, though I think you can worry about these things too much... :D Joe Last edited by Joe Hesketh; December 1st, 2005 at 06:12 PM. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | My preference is to have the inflate button on the inside. I find it difficult to acutate both buttons at the same time if the button is on the outside, my thumb is stronger. I've used both, and don't really have a problem with either style, but if given the choice I like the "add gas" button inside. You do need to keep the inflator oriented so that you can oral inflate.
