Pathfinder Reel

Hi, I am looking at buying one of these reels and would appreciate some advice as to which model to go for.

I am an open water diver and will be using it for wreck penetration. I am pretty sure the 1200 would be an over kill for my needs, so the decision would be between the 400 and 800.

So which would be the prefered one?

Most folk use the 400. That would be more than adequate for your needs.

You will (probably) find that the reel will be loaded with a little too much line. To prevent tangles, you might like to remove about 10-20m of line from the drum.
