  |  Fast answer required!!!! Hi Gang Just got a new charger from Phil Knackers It’s a smart charger, unfortunately I am not !! It has a slide swith on the top to select either 0.7A or 1.4A Which do I need and why????  | You shouldn't have a choice, it should be superglued in the 1.8 position (mine on the 9Ah is glued there)

|  When I realised that if I wanted to have a video light I would need a bigger torch and that I could sell my 10W 4.5 for nearly £350 to someone on the Scapa trip and finally I found someone was selling a 21W 9Ah for somewhat less than the normal price, and when I found some money which I wasn't expecting in the current circumstances...

| Sykesey , it's superglued to the high setting. Reason, too many people phoning up and saying " it takes a long time to charge up" Solve the problem before it's a problem, true DIR styleeeeeee HTH

TBH any smart charger will do, Maplins, RS Components all sorts of places sell similar ones. Does that help ?
