After a couple of failed attempts at buying a second hand TLS350, I bit the bullet and ordered a new made to measure TLS350....which arrived in the post this morning.

It is a thing of beauty and my only regret is that I didn't get the pee valve factory fitted, since I really don't now fancy taking a soldering iron to it ....oh well I will send it back and learn my lesson

What is different to what I expected is DUI seem to have a new logo which the suit sports, on the right shoulder made up of two tone blue waves. The pockets also don't have a logo on them at all, which surprised me since the previous versions I have seen did.

I shall dive it this weekend then get the pee-valve fitted asap.....

Mal

The natty new DUI Logo

Thanks .... I did fit one on my current suit but that was crushed neoprene....I had already had it for a couple of seasons so it didn't "feel" so bad Perhaps I'll reconsider over the weekend.

Regards
Mal

I'm sure someone on here (Rob Dobson?, Garf?) bought one of those hole punches that's the right size for a pee-valve. I need to fit mine, and would love to borrow it. Only need it once, hopefully - beers can be provided at some suitable moment.

Oh how I'm looking forward to becoming acquainted with Rochester Widebands...

What did you get on the suit? Anything special, or a stocker?

New drysuits are so fun!

That's a nice suit!

I was quite nervous of taking the soldering iron to my new TLS too. Just do it though - it's fine. However, don't do what I did and sprinkle talc over the outside to soak up the excess aquasure on the valve/suit. It dries white and looks like a dodgy stain
