Argon bottles

Just curious to know what size people use and how it's rigged - wreck or cave?

Currently using a 6cf bottle aquired from Phill. It is US spec so you can't get it filled in the UK so I have 15L donor cylinder and a decanting whip.

Currently rigged to the backplate:

The 1.5Ltr are like hens teeth though, I have 3 on backorder now, for about 2months.

We do the DOT *US) spec 6 and 14's but as Al points out, unless you have a very friendly LDS you'll need a whip.

I should clarify this .. it was an offer to Rick for a swap. I do not use a fox turd in any way to mount an argon cylinder.

Luxfer S006 for ocean and "recreational" cave dives, Luxfer S014 for big dives.

The small 6 cuft bottle is now available in a metric CE approved version so I'll probably get some for wreckdiving.

Cheers,
Peter
