Long shot - HID loan

I'm not having a very good week kit wise.

My gauge goes snafu, the I drop my light. Bulb smashed but shouldn't be a problem - even though diving this weekend - new light should be ready for collection.

New light not ready.

No problem - first dive not till 10:30 sat - time to get new bulb from UE.

No 10 watt bulbs in UK - at all.

Hmmm.....no problem. Borrow a light. Mark steps in and offers me his - we arrange to have lunch tomorrow.

Mark's wife has baby today (yay!) He - and his light are now stuck in Essex.

Bugger.

Is there anyone near Basingstoke or going near Weymouth this weekend who can lend me a light?

I have a spare 10W bulb, a spare 18W bulb, a Pro 14 18W light and a Pro 4 10W light, all of which you can borrow. Problem is, I am here in Bromley

Who are you diving with at the weekend? Is there anybody who can collect from me?

I'm sure we can arrange to meet up somewhere.

Salvo 10w 4.5 just chucked the battery on charge so let me know if you need it, you can pick it up tomorrow evening.

Wow.

How fantastic you all are - I'm bowled over at how helpful so many people on here are.

I've been off the board since I posted as I have been driving to the all night Halcyon dive store in Bromley

Like most good dive shops I was given a cup of tea and got to talk bollox about diving for a while as well.
