![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Marking up stage bottles Just a quick question - where do you get your decals from for marking up stage bottles? I know some people have made up their own and I'd like to do the same. Cheers, Janos

Avery make waterproof labels that you can print on with a Laser printer.Otherwise buy the halcyon ones from dirdirect (obviously you'll only get standard mix decals from there) HTH J |

Avery it is as that I guess that I can get "Oxygen" from Dirdirect but "Diluent" might be a problem!Otherwise buy the halcyon ones from dirdirect (obviously you'll only get standard mix decals from there) I did a google for Avery and you can get free samples from their website (www.avery.co.uk). I've ordered some and I'll let you know if they turn up. Janos

I can see you need a bit of work Janos me lad, in the CCR world at least one of the side slung cylinders you will carry will be your "bailout" this is NOT a "stage" bottle (by definition you MAY stage a "stage" bottle, you are a loon if you do this with bailout!) Stages are normally shut off during a dive, your bailout should always be open. If you need any more CCR tips just ask ;-)Cheers, Janos Ian (I wonder if Clare will let us have a CCR section) |

I assembled it all yesteday (less the manual add valve and the lime) and it holds pos. and neg. ok. But I need to re-rig my harness a bit and sort out a drysuit bottle before I worry about stages etc. Today is going to be a day in the garden in my drysuit with Mrs. Janos and a camera...Janos

I had the Halcyon "Oxygen" label on my YBOD 3l tins, the Dil bottles were blank, it was easy to tell the difference between the two. I seem to recall a post where a YBOD owner had marked his tins with "YOU" & "TWAT" on the reverse so he could tell if he had rigged them wrong.Janos Ian |
