| Sorry for being a dick | how hard is it to get the holes in the right positions? If there are a little too far apart the band will be too loose and if too close together it'll be too tight to get the bottle in. Is it just a case of trial and error? If so, how many times did it take you to get right?

It was pretty easy to get them on right position the first time, though it was pretty tight when I first mounted the bottle. If there are a little too far apart the band will be too loose and if too close together it'll be too tight to get the bottle in. Is it just a case of trial and error? If so, how many times did it take you to get right? How I did it was that I first put the eyelet to the other end and screwed it into the BP. Then I placed the placed the bottle to its position and marked location of the another hole. The problem that I had was that I used eyelets made by H. Hipkiss & Co in Birmingham. The original bolts that came with my Halcyon Storage Pak were little bit too short for the eyelets and the Storagepak so I had to use pliers to press the eyelets a bit. After this the bolts went on just fine. -- Aki |
