Fundies - provisional pass

This may well be on the internet somewhere, but can anyone tell me what the deal is with the Fundies provisional pass? I know it's a "go away, practise your skills some more, come back when you're ready for another crack" affair, and I know you have a time limit but I forgotten what the period is. How much of the course do you have to do again? Is it just a case of getting a day with an instructor to do a couple of dives with them? I assume you have to pay for their time when it happens?

There's a six month limit.

You have to demonstrate some skills to an instuctor. The skills would be dependent on why you got the provisional in the first place.

This doesn't have to be the instructor you took the class with. I normally slot a provisional candidate in between dives on an existing DIRF class. Neither Andy nor I charge for this.

Don't know if it is different where you are, but here the standard seems to be:
No charge for clearing a provisional to a pass if you do it within 6 months of the class. If you wait more than 6 months you have to take the class over again. I am not sure if this is a GUE standard or if it is up the the individual instructor.

I will be doing some - I have a free diving course booked for early May Besides, I know Rich prefers divers who've not been practising, so maybe that puts me in a better position...
