The Fundamentals of Better Diving

Hi all
Is this book only available from GUE direct or can you buy elsewhere (In the UK).
A bit of light reading required for long hotel stays!

Present to myself

Hi all,

Just to let you know that I've taken yet another step down to the dark side, to go with the twin set, long hose, side mount, wing and B/p, membrane dry suit,HID primary and bu light...I've just ordered THE book from dirdirect.

I'll read, comprehend, and inwardly digest it, before I start asking all "those" questions.

A couple of years ago I bought Vance Harlow's book on Regulator Maintenance and Repair, read it several times... then sent him 20 pages of corrections (units/ contradictions/errors) that were accepted by him with thanks.I get a bit pedantic / anal at times and won't agree to anything until I can see the reason for it....will I get the same response from you and the DIR heirarchy for asking questions / questionning DIR concepts/ doctrine/ ?dogma?....Even Jesus had Thomas to doubt him...

I'll read the book first....I'm already boring the rest (read non-DIR) members of one of my dive clubs and talking the hind legs off the other more enlightened members.

Cheers for now

Brian,
Rest assured you will get a sensible response from all on here, providing your "arguments" are reasoned.

Anal and pedantic are something you'll also find on here so you'll fit right in :D

Ask away, there's a huge wealth of knowledge and experience on here from all over the world. They will be only too pleased to share that knowledge.

Cheers
