![]() | I heard about some one who did fundamentals in a wetsuit and passed with a rec pass because the area he was diving in is not suitable for a wetsuit during a tech1 dive. SO you dive stale twins and eat steel bread then (which is here, in the netherlands...) at the other hand, it is quite logical. You simply don't do a tech1 dive in a wetsuit here. ![]() | As promised here is the response from the GUE/F Instructor: "A dry suit is not required for the tech qualification. As you point out the exposure protection you should use is what you will be normally diving. If you're new to drysuit diving it will be best if you do the course in a wetsuit. Especially if you are already going to be somewhat more task loaded with the doubles."
