What's the DIR point of view on eating steel bread? Can you still dive a wetsuit afterwards?

As promised here is the response from the GUE/F Instructor:

"A dry suit is not required for the tech qualification. As you point out the exposure protection you should use is what you will be normally diving. If you're new to drysuit diving it will be best if you do the course in a wetsuit. Especially if you are already going to be somewhat more task loaded with the doubles."
