Decoplanner for PPC/WM5?

I know there was some mention earlier this year of a beta copy of DP for PPC/WM5 being tested by some people (I know of at least one person on this board with a copy) but was wondering how things were progressing and when we might see it released into the wild.

I am sort of guessing the GUE conference as we could have JJ standing up a la Steve Jobs announcing DP for WM5 or PPC

Regards

Can anyone comment on decoplanner vs Vplanner at all? I've got Vplanner and have been playing with it quite a bit, but as you can't download an evaluation of DP I'm not sure whether it's worth the price tag or not given my current level (i.e. not doing deco yet, but wanting to learn and explore).

sorry Gareth, I did say I'd get back to you about a million years ago.

I know Simon is very busy in work at the moment as he took time off to go to France a couple of weeks ago, but he did mention that he had discovered a bug in his program and wanted to get that sorted before releasing it.

As far as I know GUE have no involvement in the PPC version.

Now I'm in trouble

If anyone is interested in testing a PPC WM5 version please let me know.

This is a port of the original Deco Planner code (no vpm). I retained the rights to the source (for precisely this sort of reason).

I am doing this mostly for my own benifit and so have only implemented the stuff I needed (only metric units, no repetitive dives, no saving and loading) yet...

GUE have no involvement in this version.

Yahoo group for WM5 Software

Hi There,
I have setup a yahoo group (wm_deco) for distribution of the WM5 versions of MobileDeco and MobileMixer. There are CAB files for both in the Files section and please feel free to use the yahoo list to ask questions or discuss things related to the programs. Remember the programs are still in development and are not commercial in nature.

This is currently a closed group but I have sent invitations to all those who asked about it.

If you are still looking for testers ,
I'm in IT and am very interested in testing the software ,I use an O2 Exec with access to various Ipaq PDAs
