Anybody doing any cave diving....?

So, is anybody doing any cave diving recently?

I'd like to hear about your cave diving experiences.

There are a number of us on this side of the pond (UK) who have dived in Florida and Mexico and are really interested in what is going on over there.

Closer to home, a number of us are diving in France (Lot) a few times a year and would like to hear about anybody who has been diving there over the winter.

Come on guys (and girls) share your experiences here!

Dove Jackson Blue last weekend after reports that Hole in the Wall was pretty blown out [10-20 ft vis]. Jackson was great. Vis was incredible, and with my buddies 35w HID, it looked like a whole new place. I spent the cavern section drifting along with my light covered, kicking myself for not having my camera with me.

Reports to come after this weekend. Jackson Blue again tonight, Ginnie tomorrow, and Sunday I'm off to see what all the buzz is about with the vis and flow in Little River.

Cave Diving

We did 12 days of cave diving in Mexico just before Christmas, the water was clear and the caves were not that busy for cave divers. We saw a few cavern tours and snorkerlers. Only once did we run into divers inside a cave and they were friends of ours. I can't wait to get back, but I would not go that close to Christmas again, we really got hosed on our rental car price, and that was after shopping around before we left Canada.

god tell me this is a typo - a 35W HID - presumably that's for lighting football/sport stadiums? or for film sets?

Cave Diving

When we were in Mexico we were vidioing some of the dives, Brian Nadwidny had twin 24 watt Hid vidio lights. It was almost like diving in the day light...
When he shut off the vidio lights when we were exiting you had to let you eyes adjust to the dim 21 watt and 10 watt Hid lights....
