How to deal with unconscient cave diver?

Hi all

Starting my DIR diver career, a question is boring me:

how to deal with an inconscient cave diver?

Try to hold is reg in mouth an push him to the entrance finning on his/her side?

thanks for answer

David, rookie.

In the DIR-F, tech 1 and Cave 1 courses you are taught methods of dealing with unconcious divers. It's not exactly a technique that can be taught on the internet. Basically though it involves positioning yourself so you can control the casualties buoyancy while maintaining a reg and airway.

ok I can imagine something like going on the left side of the diver on his back, graping his reg in mouth use the corrugated hose to control flottability, dry suit deflate in automatic mode this way.
Using the right hand under the assisted diver to push out and control flot...

I'm on the way, please excuse my poor english, sometimes it's not easy for me to explain my ideas in english

Not quite. Basically you position yourself ontop of the unconcious diver. You can use your left hand to control their buoyancy and your own, and the right hand manages the reg/airway. It is MUCH easier to show you, then to try and explain it.

If the victim is a bit positive and you are a bit negative, you stay stuck together. With your chest about equal with their manifold.

Bringing out the unconcious cave diver is one thing. But what's the best way to get someone out of the water in e.g. Landenouse if you're only with 2? (we were taking about that this week :-)
Using an harnass will make his head go down so what are other techniques to hold the diver in position will getting him up with ropes?
Thx.

I think to help an unconscious diver to climb in Landenouse, the best way in my opinion is to use, 2 pulleys, one blocker and triple rope lenght (three time the depth of the pool)
For the harness why not leave the diver in his rig, without stages and lamp and put the caribener with one pulley on the chest D, pull a bit to keep head out of water.

The system to get down the gear may be left until way out, it's what I saw when diving Landenouse.

Leave your gear climb up to the top, catch the rope and pull to the exist.

After, give first aid cares...and call les Pompiers tel 18 or 112 on mobile phone.

Might work but that means you're lifting a person+doubles on a (better both D-rings?) D-ring. I doubt they can handles 100-150kilo.
