Not exactly DIR but....

A friend of mine put me onto the following cave diving book.

I know many of you may have read it, but this is for the folkes who haven't!

NSS Cave Diving Manual (An Overview) edited by Joe Prosser & H.V Grey

A really good reference book, full of great stuff!

Available from Underwater Expensive in the UK to name but one

Link here> Underwater Explorers

Enjoy

Hello mate,

I have the book in my bag with me at the moment. I think once upon a time it was on the recommended reading list for GUE cave 1, although I may be wrong

Despite some "interesting" pictures and ideas (we had a bit of a team chuckle on the plane to Mexico ), it is a good read.

Cheers,

Fraser.

I was in the shop a fortnight ago and didn't see a copy. It is out of print so I would check before getting excited.

There is a shortage of good material on this subject....

The Cavern Manual they wrote is actually a very good book too. It's sort of a distilled version of the cave manual. It's quite old so might be out of print too.

Nope it is still in print and very easy to get. That is for us on this side of the pond. You can get it directly from the CDS. Go to their website NSS-CDS

Hope this helps some out. It has been redone form severla years ago.

Yup your right, I was thinking the Work book for some reason. I think that some of the shops in FL might have some copies like was mentioned by another poster.
