Viz reports France

I'm planning a trip to the Lot end of this month.
Since viz is a bit guessing these last days, where do you find your (regular) updates on this? Are there fora/sites where divers post reports and cave circumstanced on a regular base?
Thanks for the help,

Anne-Marie

There's a Yahoo! Group that occasionally has viz reports, but they seem to be quite sporadic unless someone posts a direct question.

Hello you can post a thread on plongeesout : Plongee-souterraine - Page d'accueil
it's a french speaking forum but people will answer you in english. André Grimal usually posts regularly on cave conditions.

I am going to the Lot as well at end of the month and my friends go there on a regular basis.
From what I have heard, thanks to the floods in the past two weeks, the restriction in St Sauveur is now cleared, but it is still forbidden to go past the restriction.
I will post any updates if I have any by then.

From what I heard Ressel is going to be packed like crazy end of october (french holidays), I am not going there for sure !

Hi,

french holidays are from the 28th to the 5th, the whole week ... I have heard they have planned a bunch of french cave courses in Ressel that week.

I have heard about the parking lot at Ressel as well, but don't know more at this point. I will ask the locals ...

AH, bad timing from our side

But enough options to avoid Ressel, maybe return also to RS2?

Might be nice to see you in Lot!
