| New Member | Cave 1 report (France) For those interested: my (personal) report of our Cave 1 course with Chris Le Maillot in France is available online, on my website: GUE Cave 1 report - How to play Shadows on the Wall (Dutch language website, except for this report). There is a report in Dutch as well, written bij A-M, on Frogkick.nl. |

| Resident purveyor of shiney kit.... | Great report, thoroughly enjoyable read, thank you for taking the tim eout to post it. Good luck for the final hurdle, but I'm sure if you can get through that lot, you'll walk it. Nice link to Marike's site as well, one I hadn't seen before. RIP.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I really enjoyed the report that is now an article on this site. It's sexist of me, but I particularly like the idea that it was a "girl's cave class". Delia Millirond wrote a very interesting article for Quest about female technical divers, and I thought many of her observations were very cogent. I have experienced some of what she writes about myself. I have a dear dive buddy, who was my Fundies practice partner, and I've watched the difference in the way we approach further training, and it matches what Delia talks about. I want to do everything in small steps, and get one thing perfect before moving on to the next -- Kirk is much more willing to take huge leaps, and risk making a complete ass of himself in the process. He's talented, and makes faster progress than I do, but I can only move as fast as my comfort level allows. Thank you for writing up your experiences. Cave 1 in Mexico is on my "to do" list for 2007. |
