GUE 2009 Calendar Submissions

Greetings all,

We are pleased to announce that GUE is in the process of creating our 2009 Calendar and we are currently accepting submissions for this project. If you have ever wanted to see your photos grace the GUE calendar, now is your chance! Here’s how:

Send an email to Sheila@gue.com with the word “Calendar” in the Subject line.
Attach a web-ready version of the image (approx. 600 pixels wide) to the email (.zip file preferred.) Please do not send full-resolution files at this time.*
Place a description of the image in the email body, including date, location, and photographer’s full name and contact information (submit your own photos only, please!)
Include at least one caption for each photo you submit.
Please send ONE image per email. You may submit as many photos as you like, but please only send calendar-worthy images.
Deadline for Submissions: Friday, August 15th, 2008.

*If your image is chosen for the final cut, we will contact you for a larger, print-ready image. Please have a 300dpi, 8.5”x11”, un-cropped version of the image available.

What we are looking for:

Appropriate quality underwater content ranging from caves and wreck dives to reefs, macros, diver portraits, interesting flora/fauna, etc. If it’s underwater, we want to see it!

What’s in it for you?

If chosen for publication, your image(s) will be showcased in GUE’s 2009 calendar to be seen by divers around the world for years to come. Your name will appear prominently under your photo for all to see. In addition, you will receive a copy of the 2009 Calendar at no cost.

Deadline for Submissions: Friday, August 15th, 2008.

Please note: If you miss the Calendar deadline, you may still submit images for GUE’s Diver Screensaver project. Simply replace “Calendar” with “Screensaver” in the Subject line of the email.

Photos submitted to GUE will not be used for other projects unless we have express permission from the photographer.

Yep, the car is packed and completely full.
Rb is ready and so are the slaves so let's see what the pictures will give

car is fully loaded, camera packed..RB80 ready to rock... Slaves (flashes) @ full power... Weather looks good for this weekend and Ressel is waiting for us...

Let's just say it is a good job the models have to be clothed for this calendar if I am taking shots (cheap one's at that) of you!
