I'm really pleased to tell the community that Halcyon have agreed to become our primary sponsor and, through their generosity, www.direxplorers.com can continue to serve the DIR diving community, and seek to improve access and functionality for users.

Halcyon began as a group of divers who knew exactly what they wanted but couldn't find in any dive store. Their passion for the dive led them to business. They started designing wings and lights to satisfy their own needs, but soon discovered that they were not alone in their pursuit of equipment in tune with the approach known as "Doing It Right" diving.

A team of accomplished divers runs operations at Halcyon. Halcyon's Chief Operating Officer, Casey McKinlay, manages Halcyon’s day-to-day operations. Casey began cave diving with Jarrod more than fifteen years ago and has partnered with Jarrod on many of the north Florida cave exploration pushes. In addition to overseeing Halcyon's daily operations, Casey serves as the Project Director for the WKPP and advises state and federal agencies on cave and resource management issues.

The support of all of our advertisers is crucial for keeping us live and online. Most of them play active roles in the community too, giving help and advice on training, equipment issues and other matters.
