Baton progress......

OK so when we signed up our 2,000th member Ali made a gold (well OK brass

) line arrow for us and Mike donated some wetnotes to create a baton which could be taken round the world from DIRX member to DIRX member. I promised to kick this off in the States on my trip here.

There had been a plan to take it to a certain cave in Tallahasse but that didn't kind of work out so I found someone else to carry it for us.

Jarrod carried it whilst he rained problems down on us on our final dive of our Cave 2 course at Madison - seems apt really

Mats has taken it back to Sweden with him - to dive there and pass on to another member. Keep it going!

very cool. i hope it makes its way out to south east asia at some point. we could take it to the HMS Repulse and Seven Skies, where we are going this weekend.
