End of an Era

Folks

Due to a change in personal circumstances, I have decided with much regret to stop teaching for GUE from the end of December 2006. I realise this may come as quite a surprise to many of you.

I have been involved with GUE since the very beginning and seen it grow from a simple idea to an organisation that appeals to divers around the world. GUE has grown significantly and I am sure will continue to do so.

With regards to any students/ex students all scheduled courses will take place, and those who have any questions regarding qualifications, evaluation dives, experience dives etc do now worry, we just need to get all of this done by the end of the year. Please feel free to email me at akerslake@gasdiving.co.uk or send a PM.

For those that I have met and trained with in various countries, I would like to thank you for all your efforts, hard work and commitment to GUE. Many of you are now good friends and I am sure we will be seeing each other on future dives/projects.

I will see some of you at the upcoming gig in the UK which is something I am looking forward to - in the meantime for everybody dive safe.

Best

Andy

Very sad to hear this Andy.

Good luck in your future plans and will see in 2 weeks for a week of 'fun' - maybe for you, but maybe not for the 3 of us.

Regards

Wow - that must have been a huge decision, Andy. It's been a pleasure learning from you, and I wish you good luck and a lot of fun with whatever your next plans may be. The Stoney gig in November is going to be a pretty good last hurrah (probably among many others though!).

Best wishes for the future, Andy!

Go on, admit it - it was Howard who put you off wasn't it?

Good luck for the future.

Good luck Andy, although I'm sure you won't need it.

Wish you the best in your future endeavours. So am I still going to see you on the odd dive boat??? You're always welcome to come down to Plymouth, in fact if you're interested i've got 5 weeks of exploration gas diving planned next year and we're missing a number 3...

Brian
