DIR divers do
not carry computers. They carry bottom timers. I think your question has been addressed a few times now but you just don't like the answer.
If you are going TDI this is not the forum that you want to be asking. Perhaps you are more at home at thedecostop. DIR divers have pretty strong opionion on the way they configure their equipment. Ok now I stop let other more experienced people talk.

I agree that you can't buy your way into Tech. I wouldn't be interested if you could.
But you have to carry a computer, right? So why not get that sorted right at the start?
I was trying to ascertain what computer would carry me through the whole Tech learning process.
I think all I've learnt is that you guys are extremely touchy!
