Water can be in the low 20s in Bali (21-22 C).

If you plan to use the 3 mm full suit, definitely take a warm hood. I would take the 5 mm suit just in case.

AL bp + Eclipse 30 is perfect. I also use a yoke setup (MK20/S600/R390) for warm water locations as DIN tanks can be hard to find.

EDIT: back from Bali.

Water temp at Crystal Bay (Nusa Penida) was in the 16-22 C range (August '08). I ended up wearing a full 3 mm wetsuit with a 3 mm Farmer John on top of that, AND a 5 mm hood (yes, time to buy a DUI 30/30). Did not take my canister light, so a ss bp + Eclipse 30 + 2 kg (1 kg on either side) on the upper tank strap was my config.

For Tulamben, water was warm and a 3 mm wetsuit was more than enough. A ss bp + Eclipse 30 (no additional weight) was perfect.
