Mac - your Pro 14 has different batteries to the Pro3/Pro4.

Pro 14 uses 2 batteries end-to-end. Pro 3 uses 2 batteries side-by-side, but different batteries though.

That "disc" between the Pro 14 batteries is a bulkhead which is needed to prevent the cannister distorting (and leaking) when it goes deep. Pro4 doesn't have or need a bulkhead because the cannister is much shorter.

BTW those PS1229 batteries are getting tricky to get hold of these days.
