I dived with my new Proteus 3 on the weekend and it performed brilliantly. However, we were camping and I didn't have a light for half of the last dive because I couldn't charge it overnight.

I'd like to get a spare battery for it. The battery is a PowerSonic PS-1229 SLA battery which costs about US$30. However, I can't find anywhere that sells those particular batteries here in the UK.

I found an appropriate one in terms of voltage/current (12V 2.9AH) at Maplin but it's too large for the cannister.

Any ideas?
